The skiing fun starts at the Mölltaler Gletscher already at the end of October and at the Ankogel in Mallnitz from December until April. 

Snow guarantee in the ski area Ankogel - the home mountain of Mallnitz: with an altitude of 2.700 m above sea level, 2 cabins, 4 t-anchor lifts and in total 35 km of slopes it is a family friendly ski area with slopes of all difficulties. "Wedeln" down the slopes with a difference of altitude of 1.500 m from top until bottom, sun and pit-stop in a cosy hut, that are skiing holidays at its best! What do you want more? 

Mallnitz is situated at the alpine main ridge very close to Gastein valley and is therefore only a 12 minutes train ride away from the ski areas of Gastein (Stubnerkogel, Angertal, Schlossalm) at the north side of the main ridge. So you can choose for the best weather and snow conditions by yourself!
